Hey Phillies fans! This blog is intended to keep those readers who are a part of the Phillies Pfaithful who love to watch, talk, and live Philadelphia Phillies baseball. The World Series Champions are slowly paving their way to another successful season as their magic number is down to 3 games as they beat the Brewers last night by a score of 6-5. Jimmy Rollins got things started by hitting his 21st homerun of the season in the first at bat of the game. This was JRoll's 33rd career leadoff homerun. "To a man, we would like to go out there, handle our business and keeping winning. Get on a good stretch, and by doing so we'll have some momentum going into the playoffs. We're doing OK. We do some things good. Some things like, what the heck is going on out there? It looks like a Little League game right now. But let's put a nice homestand together and see where that takes us," stated Jimmy Rollins on the game and season. The one question that I pose to you readers is how is the back end of our bullpen going to fair with the playoffs coming right around the corner. Will Brad Lidge get back to his old ways once the postseason begins?

I hope the phillies take it all the way this year. They are looking really good and ready to play some ball for this years playoff season. I think that if they play like they did during the middle of thier season, victory is inevitable!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I hope the phils do a repeat. I liked how they played in Game1 but not so much in Game2. Game3 is supposed to be so cold, and i hope i doesnt effect our pitching to much. GO PHILS!
ReplyDeleteI also think the Phils will have a successful post season but I am definitely worried about the cold playing conditions in Colorado. The Phils haven't played in this kind of weather in almost a year, so it might pose a problem. I find the Phils to be very on some games and other games they are very off in their playing. they need to have some consistent playing for them to have any chance of winning the world series this year.
